Nelson, I'm obviously seeing this a bit late, but that sounds fun. I was wondering if you had any turnout.

For a future of equanimity, we brothers of the Willamette have been longing to connect. We all share a love for the fertile soil and through a knowledge of our differences, an equal, bonding love between us.... *^#~Portland, Salem, Corvallis, and me, Eugene/Springfield~#^* .....our cities are open to a brotherhood of respect for the Earth. Our economy has suffered enough, not to mention the planet. I'm done, I'm tired of it, and I want to help relate with the bikers of Portland, the cyclers of Salem, and those who're commuters from Corvallis. I'm from Eugene, Springfield, and I believe we are open to the possibility of a safer, healthier means of travel. Are we not? And may the creation of new jobs through community-oriented collaborations for peace and justice bring about a new song for Bob Dylan to write about? Why not!!! May we in the Willamette Valley represent a culture of nonviolence, a positive workforce, and a people of motion, travel, and safety. Be there a bike path to connect our cities and be there shops designated to recognizing of our needs for traveling Wilder berries, providing shelter for overnight stays, and growing organic vegetables from family run gardens. Ye Ol' Willamette River.... may it be our focal point, to maintain it's quality, as we cultivate our integrity, our faith and trust, our cares to achieve a decent level of appreciation for the river water we share as a one. Won't someone help me to bridge brother cities together with an act of commitment to help alleviate the stress on our environment? We've worked in bike shops and we've worked in coffee shops. We've also trashed our streets and polluted the air. Who's bored? My friend who works with Buddy Guy says they'll donate money for stationary bikes to whoever can actually convince businesses like C.A.T. (Center for Appropriate Transport) to agree on a plan worthwhile. With a homeless shelter, organic garden, and a bike repair corner, let us find our people a sense of dignity so prosperity may return. No, I don't deserve any credit for any this, for it was all inspired by a lovely plant. There is no herb more medicinal, more healing, more rejuvenating, more life-engaging than the one grown freely across the country of integrity, across the hills of respect, and around the mountains of intention. Therefore, I recommend every citizen of the Earth a bowl of Wheaties with fruit for breakfast, the relaxing sound of the river, and the collective wish for a new commuting system of bikers who breathe, campers who break bread with riverside travelers, gardeners who help feed old vets who work on bicycle repairs while listening to KNRQ, and a youth who may travel freely up or down the valley floor to visit communities in need of their conscious support in order to relate in a world of stress and automobiles of planet torture. In my dream, we rarely see cars or hear them for that matter, and we hope to meet a long lost friend somewhere along the trail so we may once again remember what it felt to be together and be loved. The southern Willamette Valley is a sweet place to live, and through every season we see change. Some visions lose sight over time, but not this one. I see hope for the people of Eugene & Springfield as we come together to bike for beans and campfire story scenes. I see a natural habitat of wildlife appreciated and embraced. I see communities working in a valley of unconditional love. May those who follow their dreams be blessed with collaborations of joy. May the intention of uniting for the sake of brotherhood, four cities for peace, be blessed with double rainbows and a tone of harmony for all to enjoy. So may these four cities achieve a sense of respect for this blessed planet by joining in the planting of trees.
Eugene Springfield, inspired by the money tree, free of greed and animosity, full of TLC for you and me.

May the melodies of light lift your days with no end, bring joy to families, and homes of hopefulness through each night
